hahaha that's my girlfriend abby in the opening scene holding the board!! i can only imagine what it would have been like to be a regular citizen there that day...
Hi Beth - friend of RØB's here. I wanted to let you know that the Vacuum Cleaner Museum is having its grand opening this Thursday, August 27th from 1:30 til the evening. It's in St. James, Missouri at Tacony Manufacturing, #3 Industrial Drive, St. James, MO 65559. There will be ice cream!
The Vacuum Cleaner Museum includes vacuums from 1910 through today, set in vignettes from each century. It's an amazing lesson in not only the vacuum cleaner, but the changes in American History that determined the evolution of the vacuum. (Trust me, I proofreadthe plaques for each vacuum and was amazed at how interesting it was.)
The museum is located at Tacony Manufacturing, one of the only vacuum cleaner factories in the United States.
I wanted to send you an official press release, but RØB isn't near IM and I can't find an email address. Would you mind emailing me at s.weir@tacony.com or secretlystephie@gmail.com? I'd love for you to come see it someday (open 9-5) even if you can't make it to the opening.
Also, this site has guided me towards some great adventures in the past - thanks for all that you do!
Any flash mob that incorporates barbershop quartet has to be great. Nice find!
