How I Rang in the New Year

In all honestly, I was on my couch by midnight, but earlier I had fish and chips, Newcastle Brown Ale, and:



The Disgrace, a new dessert found at The Bleeding Deacon Public House. That is a bacon brownie, bacon vanilla ice cream, and chocolate covered bacon crumbles. It is worth every calorie. I regret the quality of that photo, but it was so dark in there we almost needed flashlights to sign our tabs.

All the food at the Bleeding Deacon is fantastic. The new menu is not up on the website yet, but they have tons of new vegan and vegetarian options if bacon is not your thing. They also recently extended their hours and are now open 11a-1:30a Tuesday-Friday, noon-1:30a Saturday, and noon to midnight on Sunday.
